Listen up! Seeing is believing when we examine the wonders of our five senses. Join us as we look for taste buds and discover sound waves. We may even stop to smell the roses! |

Eye to Eye – Telescopes, binoculars, and magnifying glasses are just a few of the scientific tools that we will bring into play. See your eyes in a different light. Use a miniature telescope and see what you never saw before! |

Keep in Touch – Do you know how sensitive the tips of your fingers are? Using only your sense of touch, you will try to identify objects you see everyday. Determine what makes some objects safe to touch and others not. No Band-Aids needed! |

Listen Closely – Investigate the sounds that catch our attention. With a wave motion model and a twirling tube in hand, learn how sound travels in waves and can be heard in a variety of pitches. Experiment with ordinary materials to make movie sound effects. |

Look Closely – Explore mirrors, reflections and optical illusions. Use hand-held microscopes to get a closer look at everyday objects. Continue the fun at home with your very own magnifying glass. |

Taste and Smell – Join us for a journey through our mouth and nose. Discover your senses of smell and taste. Learn how your senses help you enjoy all of your favorite foods as well as those that are not as yummy. Create your very own scented pictures. |

My First Lab
It’s Mad Science 101. Snatch up your coat and meet at the lab-- it’s time for science fun! Flasks, beakers and balance beams are some of the equipment your junior scientist will experiment with. We’ll even do a little mixing to shake things up. |

Mad Mixtures – Conjure up an eruption in our Mad Science lab. Use chemistry to blend different colors together and create liquid lasagna. Mix-up a batch of Mad Science play dough to take home. |

Let’s Measure – Explore mass and length through the use of scales, balance beams and giant feet! Take home a giant measuring foot to practice what you’ve learned. |
