These school-age workshops have proven to be the most popular for fun, hands-on science during the summer. We tone down the education while we turn up the fun - but your kids will still learn a lot!

School-age workshops are for ages 6 and up and last one hour. Up to 25 kids per workshop. $139 for a single workshop or $125 each if we perform the same workshop multiple times a day.

12	Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! - Creepy, crawly creatures or environmental warrior? Experience our world from a bug's perspective and make an insect to take home.
11	Detective Science - Fingerprints. Observation. Chemical Analysis. We investigate a crime scene and use science to help answer the question "Who done it?"
10	Rocketry Demonstrations and Launches - 3...2...1...Blast off! Discover the dynamics of rocket flight with our scale models. Take part in a real rocket launch!
9	Science of Toys - Learn the physics behind many of your favorite playthings. Balls, yo-yos, wind-up cars and more. Make a Jacob's Ladder.
8	Stunt Planes & Gliders - The Wright Brothers would be proud as we follow in their footsteps and learn the fundamentals of flight. Build your own stunt plane and "football" glider. You'll be a Top Gun after this class.
7	Science of Magic - Magic? No...It's science. You'll learn the secrets behind famous magic that you can recreate for yourself and others.
6	Optical Illusions - Seeing is not always believing! You'll learn about optics, reflections and sight. Watch celebrity images change before your very eyes and create your own cartoon flip book!
5	Light! Color! Action! - Attend a spectacular chemical energy display as we create indoor fireworks. Uncover the hidden components of ordinary light and create a Newton Color Wheel.
4	Matter of Fact - Investigate the building blocks of the universe - atoms and molecules. Turn nickels into gold (well...almost) and make Mad Science putty,
3	Watt's Up? - Learn about static electricity. Make indoor lightning and have a hair-raising good time with our 400,000 volt electro-static generator.
2	Slimy Science - Ooey and gooey! This workshop explores the world of polymers and the chemical reations that create them. Each child will make a cup of his own slime! Don't worry - we supply the lids.
1	Bubbling Potions - Explore the fascinating properties of Dry Ice while learning about the states of matter. Create a bubble fountain, eerie movie effects and make your own soda!
