Mad Science of the Piedmont and CERTL {the Center of Excellence for Research Teaching and Learning} at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center have created a joint venture called SEE Science.  SEE Science stands for Seeking Educational Excellence in Science and is designed to bring our unique brand of hands-on science to 5th graders in schools.

The program consists of a series of ten workshops designed to provide science career interest and academic success for these students.

We are grateful to the Women's Fund of Winston-Salem for providing SEE Science with a grant of $16,000 to bring 100 workshops from this program to 10 groups of 5th grade girls at Title One schools in the WSFCS district.
