Programme Costs
The cost of each after-school programme will be determined by the duration of the programme and these details will be indicated on the registration form. Most registration and payment will be taken through the school office.
Registration and Cancellation Procedure
Registrations are typically handled by the individual school. Should the maximum number of students be exceeded, Mad Science will coordinate with the school to decide how to either split up the classes or which students will be placed on a waiting list for the next term's session. If a class does not reach the minimum number of students necessary to run the club, a full refund will be given to all registered parties. Refunds for withdrawn students will only be given at the discretion of Mad Science and may be subject to a £10 administration fee.
General
Mad Science reserves the right to cancel a club if the minimum number of children do not sign up. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the club runs as advertised, Mad Science reserves the right to change the content of a session or topic without any prior notice. Where any child or parent/guardian of a child has a complaint about any aspect of the course, he/she should address the matter immediately in writing to the relevant manager, not the Mad Science Presenter. Our aim is always to ensure we deliver high quality sessions. When we are aware of the problem, we will endeavour to rectify it immediately. No recompensation can be considered for any issue which was not brought to our attention at a time when it was possible to resolve the issue.
Mad Science Behaviour Policy
Mad Science reserves the right to exclude children from the Mad Science After-School Programme upon failure to follow the Behavioural Policy (available here). Mad Science also reserves the right to exclude any child who is disruptive to the extent that it affects the safe running of the session. Under these circumstances, Mad Science will not refund missed sessions.
